Friends can help hold you accountable to your fitness and wellness goals. If you refer a friend to the Y and they join, you both get $10 off your monthly membership for the next three months!
It’s easy to refer a friend. When they join online, or in any of our centers, they’ll enter promo code FRIEND at checkout. It's that simple!
Once they join, we’ll ask your friend who referred them so both of you receive your savings.
Members can have one active referral at a time, up to four per year.

Terms and conditions
- Member referral promotion can only be applied to active, drafting membership accounts with the YMCA of WNC.
- Promotion has no cash value. No refunds or credits will be applied.
- Promotion reward only available at point of sale for new or renewed membership or with confirmation of referral. Cannot be applied retroactively.
- Reward redemption is applied to the subsequent consecutive membership drafts. All financial adjustments must be applied five days prior to billing.
- Only one referral reward may be redeemed at a time for current members. Referral reward redemption for current members may be applied multiple times in a calendar year but rewards may not overlap or be postponed to future payments.
- Promotional dollars are applied monthly and do not carry over. Drafts must remain active to receive the full promotion. The monthly rate must meet or exceed $10 to receive the full benefit of reward.
- Corporations, third parties, or employees of the YMCA of WNC are not eligible to participate.
- Other discounts or financial assistance may apply.
